In 1999 Professor said that our work as Feng Shui practitioners would be greatly needed in the years to come due to the changes in technology. He felt that there would be a challenge to our chi – an influx of information that would be difficult to manage, and a loss of interaction with one another that could lead to both isolation and an insult to human interaction. He cautioned us about “strange” chi showing up in the new century.

Now, at the end of 2015, we see the following trend. “Timber veneers – a more upmarket look – are also giving homes a warm, crafted feel, with some designers saying this is a natural response to our increasingly digital lifestyle.”

And, black is everywhere – and paired with timber. Water feeding Wood? Wisdom fueling action?
