We used color as a means to help our No Time for Sex (CF2) family regain their footing after more than a year of dramatic, litigious trauma. We can never underestimate the power of color to heal.

I wanted to know more about this power, so, years ago, I spent some time looking at the Ba-gua and its color correlations through time. The colors have changed with time, yet there is a universal arrangement of color that appears everywhere in the literature—an arrangement that makes sense when we dive to the depths of both the Pre and Post-Heaven Ba-guas.

I recorded my findings in this Sound Bite. However, the dialogue is not easy to follow. Not to worry. Science is shedding some light on the power of color, but we do not need to fully understand the mathematics to use color as one of our tools. This is Professor’s realm of the transcendental. Even though our rational mind cannot yet grasp the science, we can step outside our logical mind and know that color can make a miraculous difference as we work to better understand its healing nature.

Follow the instructions and answer the questions at the end of the discourse and let us know what you find. You can use the colors of our Black Sect Ba-gua or the colors listed in the Sound Bite. Gather together a group of people and see what happens when you read the hexagrams that show up for each person in the group. You will learn so much about one another and each trigram! It’s a fun way to study the roots of our tradition.

Thanks for adding a little science to your day. I’m still working on understanding this one!
