Once you have asked your question and received a specific hexagram to read, dismiss the usual method (of changing all change lines at the same time), and change just one change line at a time. Read the hexagram(s) in between the initial and resultant hexagrams. As you analyze the results of the intermediary stages, you will learn where your opportunities lie.

The I Ching will offer you appropriate action and attitude for each stage of the process.
