HIGHLIGHTS of the call:
- We took a few steps back to a difficult landing in a condo in Belgium – small, stark and almost brutal. We wondered how to give these doors a voice, given that the owner prefers this type of architecture and design. Katherine offered slides of some unusual doorknobs that have strong voices. Have you thought of another design that might work? She also suggested how one might create the five elements on a door that needs a strong voice. We had that discussion last week.
- We returned to our conversation about finding the right words to meet the moment and encourage a balanced conversation of both the “good and the bad.”
- Katherine pondered what she would say today to the gentleman builder who loved everything he had built including a swinging bed in every bedroom.
- Back to Hexagran #3, we discussing the carrying and mounting of the two neighboring lines 1 and 2. This idea is found as #17 on our list of tools to decipher a hexagram.
- We will continue with Case File 26 next week.
- We are continuing to develop our capacity to understand the sacred technologies that underpin our work.

This Week’s REMINDERS:
- We began with a reminder about the password for Graduates which does have an ! at the end. Your mobile phone will remember the password in its browser cache and will not require you to enter it again. If you clear the cache, your phone will prompt you for the password again.
- Every last Tuesday call of the month will be all about Q & A from members. Ask a question. Comment on something you found interesting in a document. Let us know what is going on in your neighborhood. Come prepared with 2 or 3 offerings. Your time and effort will benefit all of us. There will be a big day on every final Tuesday of every month. You have a month to jot down a few notes.
- Tech Tip: If you are having trouble posting a picture to Chalk Talk, send your IP address to Katherine. Our tech will put it on our White List indicating that we accept your post. Let us know if it helps.
- You will find the procedure for downloading a Storyboard video from Vimeo in an FAQ. Take note of the size options, and it might be best not to choose the largest. These video files are huge.
- A template is available for a spine insert if you keep your Storyboard documents in binders. The insert has the number of the Case File, the name of the File, and the Storyboard logo. You can purchase the template for $12 from Katherine.
