To Catch a Thief
- The most important clue to catching the thief in our story is the missing piece in Helpful People. I had to ask about a possible scoundrel. (As you learn more about each gua, different questions will arise.)
- Opposite guas always work together. In our story, the opposite gua, Wealth, is compromised by the existence of the closet, suggesting that money may be hidden. In this case, I had to ask if money might be hidden—even stolen.
- The bed was out of command when we arrived. It was not a surprise to hear that there was some doubt about any money being missing. Very little is clear when your back is to the door.
- With the stove and the bed back to back, in addition to the other serious deficiencies, I had to ask a very difficult question. “Might you have been betrayed by someone close to you?” Unfortunately, the final answer was a shocking betrayal.
