Florida State Supreme Court handed down a ruling about the color of robes worn by judges across the state. The high court made it clear that black is the only color allowed. It appears that some judges were wearing camouflage (really) behind the bench!
I’d never pondered the importance of the robe until I thought how I’d react to a judge in any other color. Have you?
From our viewpoint, black is perfect because it represents reason and an ability to think deeply to make wise decisions. It offers opportunity for stillness and contemplation.
