Listen to the replay of the Feb. 24th, 2015 Press Conference. Highlights of the call include:
- Floor plan interview with Barbara: You say that Barbara is a wood person – is this based on your knowledge of her, her astrology, her home, her conversation … or a combination of these.
- Floor plan interview with Barbara: Why is the bottom level ba-gua placed with fame in the bedroom?
- With the layout of my (very small) room, the door to the room crosses the end of my bed. There is another design detail in my house with the bathroom opening into the kitchen. I have recently had an item stolen from me and I am wondering if there is cure/adjustment that can help me with the lost resource?
- Floor plan interview with Barbara: Using the nine inches of red ribbons in the cure for listening – where do the ribbons get placed?
- When speaking of a road “curving away” what do you mean?
- Stove adjustments as seen by a front or rear door – why the red arrow? How does that stop the chi?
- Design Detective Pinterest Board for Case File 4: The orientation of the floor plan picture and placement of the Ba-gua is discussed.
- Floor plan interview with Barbara: Would she benefit from moving her bedroom to the front of the house so that it is not over the kitchen? Or, is she better off with the office in Career, etc., also keeping the bedroom further back?
- Can the red arrow be used to counteract poison arrows coming from neighboring properties if it’s not physically possible to install any other cures? Any other uses available for the red arrow?
- Would a bell on the door or a “Please knock” sign outside cure out of command position inside?
- What are your thoughts on sliding doors – particularly heavy sliding doors for the front of the house and a sliding door between a bedroom and bathroom.
- What does “being in command” refer to?
- What can you “Feng Shui”? For example, can I apply Feng Shui principles to the layout of apps on my smartphone?
- If doors are voices, would a lot of openings without doors represent a struggle with being heard?
- In an apartment building where the front door of the apartment is inside the foyer, would the foyer door from the street and small vestibule be considered in the ba-gua placement?
- In a house where the garage has been converted to an office and the garage door remains (and is viewable from the exterior) but is walled up on the interior – what are the implications of the dead door and what cure can be implemented to counteract that dead door?
- Model 4 Club West floor plan (also posted in Chalk Talk): After years of being accomplished and able to handle anything, the occupant feels a lack of focus and a loss of resources. What on the floorplan can contribute to this?
Recommendations:
- Look at Interior Design with Feng Shui by Sarah Rossbach for a good reference on getting started with Feng Shui.
- If you have questions on Command Position, consider the reference audio “Take Command” available through Insider Information.
- Study on a regular basis.
