My old neighborhood – we had a loft on Wooster St above Prince just up from the old Dean & Deluca & the Soup Kitchen, we were artists, musicians, filmmakers, gallerists, et al. Then the middle class from Long Island moved in along with some corporate & evidently it went through a downturn. Look what’s happening now – e-commerce is opening “brick & mortar” plus the huge conglomerates are moving in.

And evidently, RH is doing amazing business, they’ve opened these huge stores in other states. Look what they just opened – 90’000 sq ft (link below) – another area where my gay friends and I went dancing or hung out in cool cafes & restos.https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180912005125/en/
