This article reminded me of three things while reading it.
1. The Fragrant Flower Adjustment–the house being filled with colorful and fragrant flowers
2. The house and land spirits receiving some love and offerings before demolition
3. The teachings of the Heart Sutra–gone, gone, gone beyond going…the impermanence of the physical structure but perhaps the lasting fragrance of the good deeds and beauty…
